A truck comes out of nowhere and hits him. Coyne’s short story “The Cabin in the Woods” (1976) is also quite good. This first collection of Father Brown mysteries, widely considered the author’s best, includes "The Blue Cross" "The Hammer of God," "The Eye of Apollo" and more. Epic: Lengthy poems involving heroic adventures, or a subject of great import to a particular culture or mythos. Wright seemed content to reshuffle similar images and themes for his next few novels as well.

A distinct anti-German, pro-British sentiment is woven into the World War stories particularly, no doubt reflecting popular British sentiment of the time as well as Elswyth Thane's own views--as one who lived many years in both New York and England during this time. The word "fiction" in regards to literature -- generally means a narration which is not-true, real or factual. Hambly recreates the period setting convincingly and adds a suspenseful and smoothly paced plot.
